Paging Dr. Lacy, Dr. Kate Lacy...

What an imagination my 3yr old has, she never ceases to amaze me. She comes up with the craziest things, I am going to try and use this as a forum to share some of her stories. Here is the latest.
So this morning, much like every morning, we got up, had breakfast and picked up the house (for the first time of the day!). It's pretty chilly outside so i decided the two of us needed to share a bubble bath. I dont' think i have showered by myself since 1992 so I thought maybe i would atleast enjoy some nice bubbles while being MOMMY MOMMY MOMMY'D to death! Kate decided to make a "mix" in a cup. She starts explaining the ingredients - body wash, bubbles, rubber duckie "pee" and soap. She mixes it with her magic bath wand. Intrigued, I finally asked what exactly she was making. It's a mix that makes your problems go away, she said. That made me laugh out loud! What problems do you have, darling daughter! Without missing a beat, she replies, "Brinkley wants to eat me!" HAHA! Brinkley, our 60lb lab puppy probably does want to eat her. Guess i can see why she does have a problem!

WHO ME???

One more story from this morning...Kate was playing with her doctor kit that she got from Nana for Christmas. She put the blood pressure cuff on my arm and started pumping it up. She checked the guage and said, "21 pounds! good job momma!" Guess i gotta clean bill of health from Dr. Lacy, wish she could get rid of this cough!

I love my stay at home mommy days but am actually ready to go back to work. I had this great opportunity presented to me - it sounded perfect but now there seems to be some delays. I guess I need to practice my patience and enjoy my days at home while I can!
