Jay and i taught KK the importance of layers - we started with one of her spacesuits(our name for footed jammies) and built on from there. I didn't think we were going to get her jacket to close!

Jay pulled her over to the "good hill" which i think she enjoyed just as much as sledding itself!

Little Miss Kate "no fear" Lacy went down the hill all by herself the very first time!

She even pulled the sled back up the hill! What a trooper!

We met a nice family from the other side of the neighborhood who let Kate try out their sled, she definitely like it better plus you could actually steer it!

Daddy couldn't wait to join in so they decided to try a tandem sled. He and Brooke used to do this all the time - it really brought back so many good memories!

We traipsed back home through the snow - check out how deep this is. It was hard to tell how deep the drifts were until you got into one, kinda dangerous for a 3yr old who is not even 3ft tall!

yes, this is up to my knees and is not even the deepest drift!
Kate was struggling to keep her hat and gloves on so we called it quits but not before my little angel made an angel of her own!

Jennifer, I so enjoy your posts, and while I know we spend too much time on Facebook, looking back on our blog posts is so much fun. It reminds us of a lot of special, and some not-so-special, times! Your Christmas post and this one are so sweet. I can tell what great parents you and Jay are! Enjoy those precious girls each and every day!
that was one heck of a snow angel.
