We have been wanting to redo the girls room for some time. Kate needed a big girl bed and promised us that if we bought her "strawberry shortcake bunkbeds" she would sleep in it all by herself (with sissy on top of course!) After not sleeping for 3 years, Jay and I gave in, probably from exhaustion. We redid the girls room - finally! It is hard to balance what is appropriate for a 3 yr old but not too babyish for a 10 yr old. I think we did pretty well! The pics make it look crowded but it really opened the room up more and best of all, at 8:55 last night, Kate was asleep in her bed all by herself! yay - makes it all worthwhile! Check out the new room!

This week officially kicks off our complete hectic schedules! We have 3 soccer practices, 2 soccer games, 2 Wed night church classes, 1 Cougar Chorus practice, 1 Cougar Celebration and somewhere in there a partridge in a pear tree! I am also busy busy working on a freelance/volunteer project for March of Dimes so yes, things are a bit hectic! Luckily, Jay and I decided to try some prepared meals from Pass Your Plate and stocked our freezer yesterday, that will help this tired mom out tremendously!

It looks wonderful!
the girls room is ADORABLE! I miss my little girl! Okay, so she's 18 and not so little, but still...
