Back on level ground...

We had to drain the swimming pool last week. It was just too unlevel. Jay and his dad worked on it on Saturday and it does look better. Guess only time will tell. He had a typical hectic weekend so we haven't got to fill the pool all the way up yet. Right now it is the perfect dept for Miss Kate. She, Brooke and I swam in it all afternoon. It seems Kate is getting comfortable in the water again. She even learned a new trick.

She has learned to hold her nose and put her entire face under water! She was running around like crazy - splashing and kicking. She kept slipping and going all the way under. She would stay calm, pop back up and most of the time say, "that was just what I needed!" No idea where they came from but it sounds suspiciously like daddy!
She learned another "trick" today.....the all important TA DA!!! She has got this one down. Of course, she does have the best teacher in the world!



There is a LOT going on with our family this week. Decisions are being made that are out of our control. I can't really elaborate on them right now but please, please pray for us and our family. By Friday evening, the storm should be over and I can share what hopefully will be good news. In the meantime, please take a moment and say a little prayer for us.
