So once again I haven't been blogging. I have been sick. I have been running a fever of 102 consistently for 2 weeks now. I finally went to the ER last Sunday and they ran a bunch of tests that came back positive for mono. A week later I am having glimpses of feeling better but they are fleeting. Friday, Jay took me to the doctor and they did more bloodwork - no results yet. I hate this - there is so much i want to do and i have no energy at all and just feel terrible! I want to be swimming and scrapping and cleaning house and yes, even doing laundry! Today, i started some laundry and brooke said, 'Mom, you are too sick! Don't do laundry. Dad can do it!" I explained nicely that while dad has done some of his laundry, i no longer have a single pair of clean undies - I really can't wait any longer! My house has gone to pieces. The girls are eating maybe one meal a day and i found out Jay put DP in Kate's sippy cup! No matter how i feel, i have got to get this family back in order! Brooke is not feeling well today - her back is really hurting so she has an appointment this afternoon. I guess sometimes moms do get sick, it just can't very long.

The girls made Jay coffee cups and homemade cards for Father's day. They turned out really cute, the cups have chalkboards on the side so they each wrote him a message. Brooke's card wa really cute - covered in soccer sayings but kate's was my favorite! I let her go through all my scrapbook stickers and use whatever she wanted. I was determined to let her express herself without my guidance which explains why inside jay's Father's day cup there is a sticker which reads, "don't mess with mom!"

Did you tell Jay that you usually give her DP with a cup and straw? Ok, you don't "give" it to her, she takes yours.
