not the house that makes the family. This has been a tough lesson for me to learn since we have moved back to OKC. We just really haven't been settled. We moved into this house last November. It is small and needs some updating but I am happier than I have been for a while. Brooke's school is literally right around the corner and her friends are everywhere. Now that is getting warm, not a night goes by that one of her besties doesn't come over asking to play. Just 2 nights ago, a girl from her class and her soccer team came by with a surprise for Brooke. She gave Brooke her old bike. I was very touched by her generosity. We haven't let Brooke go riding because her bike is unsafe but now not only does she have a new bike, she has a riding buddy. The two were out till dark riding around the neighborhood. We are very fortunate because there are just 4 houses on our little stretch of the street and the median age of our neighbors is probably 80 (jay and i bring it down a bit). Anyway, it is quiet and safe.
We have been working to get the front of the house looking good. It has been a lot of work and more expensive than i thought but we are finally there. I took some before and after pics and thought I would share.

Happy Mother's Day to all the mommas out there! Love you all!
