Field Trip!

Wednesday Kate and I accompanied Brooke's class on a field trip to the Capitol and according to Brooke the "government" mansion. It was a wet, sticky, disgustingly humid day. We walked and walked as I carried a 2 yr old and a stroller up and down marble stairs. Amazingly enough, we still had a great time! Exhausting but great! Kate's favorite part was she got to ride a school bus. She loved it. It was soooo sweet - she got a little scared and wouldn't let go of Sissy's hand.

The girls were so well-begaved, really made me proud. So as a treat, I took them to Braum's for ice cream. It was Kate's first big girl cone - she loved it. And yes, i did purposely match her ice cream to her shirt. My momma didn't raise no fool (oh and i am still married to OCD J)
