Dad made it through surgery although it lasted nearly 9 hours. He is out of ICU now and is doing as well as you could expect. He is having problem with one leg, he has no feeling in it. I am expecting a call from his surgeon today.
Brooke was named COugar of the week for showing outstanding character and courtesy - yay brooke! Her grades continue to improve bringing home almost exclusively a+'s last night.
Brooke's soccer starts tomorow if Ike holds off. We are also going to DIsney On Ice! BIG DAY! I mamaged to get Kate's bee costume so she is the official mascot of the Soccer Stingers!
I have been at the hospital after work every day this week and I am exhausted. Somehow i still managed to redo the girls room. I thought kate's fancy new bedding would have her sleeping in her own bed. Instead she wants to sleep in the baby bed Aunt Wendie bought her. NICE. Brooke did get her desk back and is really using it. maybe that helped with the grades!

Have you had to build a boat yet down in your parts.
My office is flooding here at the Bird. But hey, at least we have new paint. hehe
