I think someone tried to kill me. OK, now i don't really think that but I did. Monday morning about 5am I woke up sick sick sick. Seriously the worst stomach stuff i have ever had. Brooke and Jay have senisitive stomachs I do not. I am pretty convinced it was food poisoning or regualr poisoning. Either way I was conviced I was going to die. It last until late afternoon today when i finally got up enough strength to get out of bed and move to the couch. To top it all off, Kate's school was closed today because they lost power AGAIN in a storm. Luckily, Jay stayed home with us this morning before going in this afternoon. I had to promise to pay Brooke $10 to help watch Kate.
So even though our weekend got off to a great start with the air show the rest of our holiday weekend was a complete bust - we didn't even make it to the grocery store let alone the arts festival. Bummer!
I do have the video I have been meaning to share. This is the song I have been singing to Kate since she was born. Now she sings along. Very sweet! Please excuse my voice.

And hey - I used to sing the "I Love You" song to my kids years and years ago. Is Barney still around? I don't care what people say - my kids loved him and he was educational!

I sang that same song to Gage as well. Ol' Barn got on my nerves, but Gage liked him, so that's all that mattered.
