Kate is going to work with me! Now if I were living in a sitcom this would be perfect. Since I work at an ad agency, we would be filming a cereal commercial but then the little toddler star would get sick and we would need a last minute replacement. TA DA - KATE would step in and become an instant star. Oh wait - I don't live in a sitcom! And we don't represent any major cereal companies - or really any minor ones. And we do very little video production.
So in my reality, we will see what happens. I am taking lots of snacks, a couple of videos and her beloved monkey pillow. Thank God I have a door that can be shut AND a co-worker with a 20-month old! Wish us luck!
Oh wait - i forgot to tell you why Kate is not going to be in school tomorrow. They have a gas leak! Sounds scarier than it is. They shut off the gas right away and it is being repaired but since they shut off the gas and it isn't fixed they have no hot water and that is a health violation so.....for me it has become take your youngest daughter to work day.
