Last night was Brooke's debut into Hollywood. OK, not Hollywood but acting. Well, not acting but she did have a costume and a line to memorize. She did such a good job and had her part memorized right away along with those of her castmates so it didn't come as a total shock when she confused her line "like happiness" with her bff's line "like Peace on Earth." She realized it as it was half way out ,she bonked her head with her hand, said "Oh Man" and then delivered "like happiness" like the professional she is! I can't even tell you how sweet it was or how proud I was! She had tons of support in the audience -Nanna, Don, Papa, Aunt Wendie, Jon, Nan, Pop and of course myself, Jay and Kate. Her daddy received her with a bouquet of Christmas flowers. All in all it was the perfect family night!
7 More days till Christmas - hopefully everyone is being good and to all the parents reading this, don't forget Santa makes a great Bribing tool!
ps.I totally made (with some help from Target) Brooke's elf costume - how domestic am I?
