In search of the Great Pumpkin!

Halloween seemed to last all week this year! Perhaps it was my girls busy social calendar that was the ever-contributing factor! Miss Kate ended up with 3 costumes this year. You have already seen her first one as the Princess Witch. For her friend Lawson's birthday party and for actual trick-or-treat, my Kate transformed herself into "KATYBUG."

and then once we were home, Kate changed again....ooooooo spooooky!

We ordered Brookie's costume online, looked pretty cute for a witch costume. Once we got it home and tried it on, i thought it looked more like a French maid than a witch, brooke referred to herself as a "french witch." OK, i can live with that.

We started trick-or-treating in our neighborhood beginning with my dad's house. It has become a tradition, I hope to continue. i think my girls might have got a little extra from "the ogre" of course, it was before 8pm!

After we hit the usual haunts in our neighborhood, we met Aunt Bootsy, Mouse and Lillie at their favorite haunt - Mesta Park. They really go all out, the kids love it and it keeps us adults entertained too. Helped us log a few more miles on our exercise routine too!

We made it home early enough to hand out candy to our little neighborhood ghosts and goblins by 9pm the girls were lights out and Jay and I watched the 5 scariest Ghost Hunters episodes - what a great end to a very Happy Halloween!
