Brooke started summer school yesterday to help with math. I am so proud of her - she didn't complain once when i suggested it to her. Math has never been my forte and i hope they can bring her up to speed. Turns out, she isn't quite as far behind as I thought so maybe she can actually get ahead.
While Brooke was in summer school, Ryan and Kate and I ran errands and played. We went to Target and the dance store. Can you believe Kate's ballet tights were $11.00?? That's almost as much as her shoes. CRAZY! After our errands we went to the park. Kids had a great time playing - Miss Kate thinks she is sooooo big.

After the park, I took the two of them to our favorite lunch spot - Taco Bueno. Yummmm!

Finally it was time to pick up Brooke. She gets out of class at noon so atleast it wa a short day. She had a good time and said it was fun. I was hoping she would say, "wow, mom! I learned so much." maybe tomorrow.

Once we were home, the kids played outside on the swings and then in the water. About 3:00 they came in to dry off and watch a movie in the playroom - long enough for me to get a couple loads of laundry done. All in all, not a bad Monday!
