Back in the groove...

well hopefully i will be tomorrow. Last week was garage sale crazy plus with the holiday it was a short week. Not much got done around the house other that getting ready for the garage sale. We also managed to eat out waaaay too many nights. We discovered this new hole-in-the-wall Mexican place and Jay is a little obsessed. For my Wichita friends, it reminds me of the little one that used to be in Parklane - we loved that place too. The garage sale was a big success, I took some of my earnings and treated Jay and I to a lovely dinner at Othello's in Norman. It was quite romantic, twinkle lights, candles, Frank Sinatra and a cool patio breeze - oh and great Italian Food. The ambience was better than the food but it was still great! After the garage sale on Saturday we attended the end of the year soccer party and awards banquet. It was hosted by a parent at their home. Their house was unreal - gorgeous. I am kicking myself for not taking pics. The pool alone was custom with a graduated entry made of natural stone with 3 waterfalls converging into one. It was breathtaking! The girls had a great time. Before we left, kate finally remembered she loved swimming and would not quit jumping in. She would go all the way under and pop up laughing - great great times!
So Sunday we spent much time out in our own pool. After much debate, jay and i decided it was much too unlevel and we have to start over. We swam for a while and then started to drain it. We played "circulation" until we were all laughing so hard, we couldn't stand up!
Today I am watching a friend of Brooke's so i will probably have to wait until tomorrow to get my house back together. Brooke started summer school for math this morning and reported a good day! Kate starts ballet tomorrow - you know i will have pics of that. I had to buy hair gel today because she has to have all of her hair pulled back. I soo bought glitter hair gel. Anyone not see that coming???
