This week has just flown by!!!

Kate and I have really kept ourselves busy this week. It is great to be back in OKC during Arts Festival time. Brooke, Kate, Sarah, Lillie and myself spent a good part of the day there yesterday. It was so much fun. Exhausting but fun. The weather was perfect, I even got a little sun. We suncreened the kiddos but I got a little pink, not bad, just a little. Matches my black eye nicely - did i mention Kate gave me a black eye the other night. She said,' Mommy, i want more chocolate milk - now!" and then she punched me. Oh wait, that's not what happened, she was silly tired and bonked my eye with her forehead.
Back to the Arts Festival. The kids had a great time. Brooke painted a piece of pottert that turned out great (i will have to take a pic later.) They tied ribbons on this sculpture and then played on it.




They made lots of arts and crafts including spirit sticks and puppets. Bootsy helped!




Once we got home it was over 90degrees so the girls and i thought it would be fun to play in sprinkler. The LOVED it! Can't wait till we get the pool up. I love these pics!





Today we kept a little slower pace spending the day with Jay's mom who is recovering from surgery and Jay's grandmother. I am glad Kate got some time with them too, she is so lucky to have great grandparents!

Tomorrow I have a meeting about a freelance project, I am very excited so hope it goes well.

Saturday we get to meet my dad's new girlfriend. It's a BIG day - can't wait. He is so happy and that makes me very happy too! Other than that is soccer and girl scouts as usual! TGIalmostF
