Family Day

Today wsa a pretty good day. We spent the whole day as a family with obligations only to ourselves. Can't remember how long it has been since that has happened! We spent the morning at the Myriad Gardens - it was just beautiful. The girls had a great time running up and down the hills, smelling the flowers and watching the ducks! One goose in particular seemed to have it out for Brooke. He kept flying directly over her at a low altitude and high speed without permission to buzz the tower. Permission denied goose!
Kate and Jay took a little nap while brooke and i went to run errands. I think she is getting a little jealous of all my time with Kate. I took Brooke to Beauty Brands where we totally got ripped off - do NOT get me started. I really miss Beauty First in Wichita. They need an OKC store desperately!
We decided since our previous Easter plans have been cancelled to have a nice quiet Easter at home. We will, of course, go to church but afterwards we are going to come home and make a traditional spiral honey glazed ham and all the trimmings. Well abbreviated trimmings but still pretty good.
This evening we dyes Easter Eggs. Kate was so much better at it than last year. Here are some pics from the festivities:






After the eggs, we painted nails. Thirty toes and thirty fingers. Well, I am two thirds done. Hopefully mine will got tonight after my 2 little easter bunnies are in bed!
