An Eggstra Busy Weekend...

Another busy weekend in the Lacy family - funny but other than soccer on Saturday I can't remember what we did! Sunday was Palm Sunday - Brooke and the other kids in the congregation did a palm processional and sang. I really think out of the 100+kids Brooke was by far the best but maybe, just maybe, I am prejudice.


After service we stayed around for lunch at the church. Brooke changed at the church into her soccer uniform so we could go straight there. I dropped Jay and Brooke off at the soccer fields and Kate and I went home to change and then back to the soccer fields for the end of the game and to pick up Jay and Brooke to take them back to church for the big easter egg hunt & party. Tired, yet?

We did arts & crafts!



Mr. Adam joined us for the festivities. He was excited to see the Easter Bunny. This is as much of an easter bunny Kate could handle. She seriously freaked out when ever the "real" bunny was near!


They divided up the hunts into age groups - Kate was not surprisingly aggressive. I am not saying she tripped her 2 yr old competitors on purpose...





While waiting for Brooke's hunt to begin, we worked on crafts and had a lovely visit with a clown. I thought Kate was going to be freaked out since our run in with the easter bunny. Turns out, she loves clowns! Who knew?

Brooke found plenty of eggs! Kate found Jesus!

all in all, i think we are ready for a very special Holy Week!



on a side note - I got my first freelance gig today. It's pro bono but it feels good to be "working" and you know it's always good to make/keep contacts! I will tell you more when i know more. YAY!
