Busy Busy Busy

Two things I figure out about this stay at home mom gig. First, i can not believe how busy I am. Second,I can't believe how much I love it. Kate and I are settling into a routine. We wake up watch one show on tv - normally Einsteins, eat breakfast and then it is time for the lesson of the day. We started with colors and then shapes. This morning instead of arts & crafts we had a computer lesson. After lesson, we play and then eat lunch. Our afternoons have been filled out & about. Yesterday we met Sarah and Lillie for lunch and some mall time. I felt like such a complete cliche - stay at home mom letting the kids play at the little play area but Kate loved it. She is really the perfect age for it! Here are some pics:

Lillie is just starting to walk. Kate gets a little impatient with her and likes to grab her hand and help. How sweet is this?

On our way to lunch we spotted the Easter Bunny - Kate was soooo excited. I told her if she was good through lunch we would take her back there. She did pretty good so that was our first stop. We went to go see him and she freaked out! It was Santa CLaus all over again. Funny thing but I couldn't get her to leave once she realized i wasnt going to make her sit on his lap. She would have stood at this fence and waved all day long if i let her!

Oh and Claire's was having a big ear piercing sale - sarah and i took all the girls to get their ears pierced - we are hoping their daddies don't notice.

Today is just too cold and windy to be out if we dont have to and guess what - we don't! Kate and I are staying in and doing laundry. I am making Beef Stroganoff for dinner. I know I have had it but i have never made it. It seems like I don't like it but it's simmering right now and it smells sooooo good! I love my job!

Glad you're enjoying your new job! I really miss the days of playing at the mall play area - that was the best!

I recently started taking Spencer to the play area at Quail Springs. I understand feeling cliche about it, but Spencer loves it!

I live across the street from Quail! Why was I not called?!

Love the pic of Kate waving at the Easter Bunny. My kids would never sit on Santa's lap, but I do have a picture of Brandon sitting on the Easter bunny's lap...
