Brooke helped me bake our cake for the cake walk - we wanted to go rocker girl so it's an almost black cake with hot pink sprinkles and pink skull candies! Hopefully it will be a hit! Brooke did a great job helping!

My dad and sister graciously helped out and made cakes of their own! How sweet is that (pun intended)! My dad's looks delicious and Sarah's is so cute. Mine gets the crappiest vote but the truth is it was 9:30 when i got home. I had worked, been to soccer practive and then decorated the school. My patience for cake decorating was gone. I did have good intentions - which has to count for something. Oh wait a minute! My grandmother's voice just popped into my head (not a good sign i am now hearing voices - i must be really tired) Anyway, my grandmother always said the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Let me just say, i am not going down for some crappy decorated cake! :)
Here are the final products

AS I mentioned, we had our first soccer practice tonight. It was dark and very very cold - but it was still good to see everybody. I think it says a lot about our coach (my honey Jay) that every single girl from last season came back and we added 4 more - all referrals from other girls! Can't wait for another great season! Here is Brooke on her first day back!
