Week Recap

Well I have not been a very good blogger have I? I blame FaceBook. Why blog here when I can put everything on facebook? It's funny because I started keeping this blog so all of our friends and family could keep up with our adoption process now I like to keep it because it's fun for me to look back and see what all we have done and how much the girls have grown, etc.
Tuesday night was crazy around here. We had a tornado about 2 miles from the house and another one not much further from my office. I felt very ill-prepared - it's February for Goodness sakes! Waaay too early for tornadoes! My dad was the hero of the day, he ended up with both girls at his house for about 2 hours - it was nice to know they were truly being cared for (oh and spoiled!!!!)

That kinda threw our whole week off. Jay ended up working crazy hours this week. Luckily, Wednesday night, Sarah and Lillie stopped by to play for a bit - check out how big Lillie is now! Smart too! oh and kinda cute! heheh just kidding - she is seriously the happiest baby i have ever seen - never stops smiling!Kate took a little time to read to Lillie - what a sweet time!


Tonight we had a family Valentine's Night complete with heart shaped pizza from Papa Murphy's. The girls got to open their presents from mom and dad and i even got Jay a little something. Turns out, I'm not a mean wife, afterall!






Tomorrow night is the Addy's! It's the advertising industry's answer to the grammy's! I can NOT wait. It's downtown and the Cox Center and then After party at a hotel - jay and i have reservations across the street at a different hotel. Thanks, Priceline. Anyway, I can not wait to spend a night alone with my husband, drinking, dancing and most likely passing out around 10:30! :)
