Saturday started soccer fest with a game on Saturday and Sunday. Brooke had 2 great games. Some pointed out that i didnt mention the score of our last game. Well, i still won't. It was exhibition, it doesn't count. BUT.....Saturday was won 9-1! Brooke had 2 assists! On Sunday we won 6-1! When Brooke was in the goal - she didn't let anyone score on her. She took one ball right in the chest, luckily, i missed it. From what i hear it was pretty rough!
Here are some pics of my little soccer stud!

I love this little team, the athletes and the parents. I really hope this is a team that will stick together! I made a little joke that i feel kinda bad about. Remember the girl that got carried off the field in game one. Well she got carried off in game 2 and 3 as well. I might have said, It just isn't a game unless Abby gets carried off the field. Her mom was right behind me. I didn't mean it bad, it's just funny to me. I think she enjoys it and she hasn't "really" gotten hurt. As a matter of fact, on Sunday, she told Jay as he ran out onto the field, "Looks like you are going to have to carry me off the field again, coach!" Heheheh she is so cute. Here is Sunday's drama

On a sad note, we lost my aunt and namesake on Friday. This is my dad's only sister and really the only family he has had any contact with in the last 25 years. Tomorrow is the funeral. Since my dad is still very much in recovery mode, Sarah, Jay and I are taking off to help him go say goodbye. It makes me very sad, life is just too short to take for granted.

What a little drama queen on the soccer field! Not Brooke, the Girl Who Must Be Carried Off the Field. It cracks me up that her head is actually lolling in both pictures you've posted! All she needs are black X's on her eyes. hee hee! I went to see Kit Kittredge with a friend and her daughter. I really enjoyed it. Being laid-off, it hit home a bit differently with me. But I also thought it had a great message.
