Our family has a bad habit (hate to admit it but they got it from me) of taking pics of ourselves - you know where you extend your arm, get real close and click the button. They are never good but it's fun! Here is a sample of some of our latest work!
Last night we went to Jay's parents house for a cookout. Kate looked so cute in this dress she got from an old friend of mine. She adores her "red high heels." This is the first time she has actually worn them out - normally they are her dress up shoes!
Today was soccer. We had an early game and had to be there at 8:15 - it was pretty chilly. Atleast Kate got to wear her cute coat one more time!
Brooke played goalie again and did an awesome job! I bet she stoped 12 goals in the first half! It is not her favorite position but she is REALLY good at it. The second half she took a ball right in the chest - it knocked the wind out of her. Believe it or not, I stayed pretty calm. I was trying to stay off the field and not rush right to her. Finally the coach (aka my husband) yelled, "goalie mom." I went and grabbed her and she spent the last couple of minutes of the game on my lap, poor baby!
All the girls adore Coach Jay - he is so good with them.
They also adore his "assistant" - you might recognize her.....it's Kate! How cute are they on the sideline?

love the self portraits. My arms must be too short. I always look awful in those. Now, I am a big fan of the timer. There's a picture I just posted of me and Lillie on my blog. It was a timer pic.
