I will survive! (ooooh how is that for a flashback and way too much drama?)
I just haven't felt much like blogging lately. I have had some allergies or a bad cold for almost a week now and I am just sick and tired of it! It was a beautiful weekend and I spent it all indoors. I am ready to MOVE out of this weed/pollen-infested state! OK, maybe not yet but I am NOT happy. I also had my first bad day at work on Friday. I think many of you ex-eagle reader will understand. I think some of my past work experience played a part in it and I took some things different than how they were meant. It is like being in a bad relationship and then blaming your current boyfriends for your past boyfriends bad ways! UGH! I am over it now but it made me, once again, so greatful that I left the Eagle in the first place!
Kate has the same crappy allergy stuff I have plus she seemed to have dipped herself in superglue because I can no longer pry her from my hip! she weighed a whopping 25 lbs when I took her to the doctor last week for her eyes! No wonder my arms ache - that girl is getting big! Oh who am I kidding - i love it! Wasn't I just pouting a couple of weeks ago because she was being a daddy's girl. Truth is, i am much happier with her glued to me!
Brooke had a good day today they went to the Oklahoma Science Museum - for all you Wichitans, it is like Exploration Place but old. SHe had a great time but managed to spill her entire fruit punch drink (and yes, she had begged me to buy the big one) down her new white shirt and cute CUTE green & white striped skirt. Jay was pretty upset but calmed down once I reminded him how important it is for her to get to be kid. Poor girl has had to be such a grown up her whole life. Her bio mom and partner have cancelled the last couple of weekends with her at random and at the last minute. It has now been 6 wks since they have seen her. I don't mind them not seeing her, i actually prefer it but it breaks her poor heart and that breaks mine. So at the end of the day, a little stained outfit really isn't a big deal.
I know some of you fellow bloggers can relate to this and I know what you are going to say but I am going to put it out there anyway. Kate has stopped eating. She might have a nibble here and there but that is it. I know jenn, Aiden hasn't eaten in years, right? Please remind me what Dr N. says? I am trying not to worry and I know she will eat when she is hungry but man it sure is tough on this momma! She is still drinking chocolate milk (maybe that is the problem.) I friend suggested PediaSure. I think I will get some tomorrow so she is atleast getting some nutrients!
I will try to have some more exciting posts and pics later this week. I do have a spooky ghost story if anyone is interested but I warn you it is F-R-E-A-K-Y!!!

First of all, I never had a problem with my kids eating, so I can't help you there.
Sorry you had a bad day on Friday. Guess last week was full of bad days for us bloggers!
AND I can't wait to hear your ghost story!
i want to hear your ghost story!
Zoe went through a big non-eating phase, too... she would only drink strawberry milk. It's just one of those things they "get over", I guess.
Sorry to hear about Brooke and her bio-mom... that's got to be hard to deal with. :-(
And you've GOT to post the ghost story!
