A day for playdates...

We have been enjoying the weekend but probably should be doing some laundry. As you can see - Brooke is not too happy about having to use Kate's baby towel!



Saturday morning, Sarah brought Lillie over for our first official play date with her. Everyone had a great time. Lillie made a new friend. We call it the automatic babysitter. If you prop up your newborn baby just right - you can leave her for hours! hahahah just kidding. We did enjoy seeing how much bigger the baby doll was than Lillie but in all fairness - this doll is HUGE! She was bigger than Kate when Kate got her for Christmas. I don't know what it is about this baby but all the girls love her from my standpoint, she is much cheaper than adoption, she never grows up and gets the toddler attitude or the 8 yr old drama - we just might keep this baby and call her our own!



Lillie did some tummy time and so did Brooke! Good job girls!




Kate couldn't decide if she wanted to play with the baby or BE the baby!







We had another playdate this time with the girls other cousin - Adam. I will try and post pics of that later. Right now, we are still watching Adam and the girls plus trying to get the house clean and bake cookies. We are hosting Jay's extended family tonight for dinner. They are coming in from all over the country for Nana's funeral tomorrow. It is a sad occassion but it will be nice to see everyone - this will be Kate's first formal introduction into that side of the family!
