Kate's issues are a little more serious. As you know, she has had an ear infection since January 1st. We have been on 4 rounds of antibiotics which will supress it but not fix it. We did a hearing test today and as a result Kate has some hearing loss in her left ear. It is so heart-breaking for me, I can't even tell you. I had to hold my precious baby on my lap while they had clapping monkeys on the left of her and the right. When the monkey on the left started clapping, she rarely turned to it. She couldn't hear the tones they played at all on the left side. The good news is, they are able to put tubes in on Thursday. Because of her past medical issues, they are going to put her all the way under and do it in a surgery center. The ENT feels that this will stop the hearing loss and once the infection is gone, some may come back. Any extra prayers you have, would be greatly appreciated! I know it is no big deal but I am a mom now - isn't it my job to worry about my babies!

We will keep little Kate in our prayers - that they stop the ear infections and that some of her hearing comes back. Poor little sweetie!
Bless her heart! She will most definitely be in my prayers, Jenn. The poor little pumpkin has been through so much so I hope the tubes offer her some relief. Hang in there mom!
Ugh. That's the worst. My nephew just had his tonsils out for similar reasons. We'll be thinking about you and sweet Kate! Miss you guys.
