BIG NEWS!

Friday was a big day for us. I got to host my first school Christmas party. I loved every minute. The kids had so much sugar it was crazy! Then we played Christmas bingo - everyone agreed that I was the luckiest mom because everyone at my table kept winning! It was so much fun. Then Brooke had a friend come over for a sleepover. She is such a sweet little girl. She came to Brooke's birthday party sleepover but this was the first time in the new house. They played so well together. The playroom makes the perfect sleepover room. It has movies, boardgames, Xbox 360 and a built in bed. They had snacks and capri sun's and were told they could stay up all night. They actually went to sleep around midnight nd were up by 8am. What good girls! Last night we went to MWC to help our good friends Rob and Leah move their stuff into storage. Together we had 5 kids between us. I think Leah and I managed the situation really well.

Oh and the biggest news of all....some or all of you may know that I had to leave my job at OPA for various reasons. I have been wanting to make a change in my career for the last couple of years and so I saw this as a the perfect opportunity to try again. Yesterday I accepted a position with a local advertising agency. It is such a geat opportunity. It is a marketing position with emphasis on PR and events (2 of my fave things) as well as copywriting and editing. They loved my writing samples I was able to provide thanks to Wichita Woman! I am very excited and will be starting after the new year. YAY ME!
