Jay and I decided to let the girls have their own tree this year and the playroom turned out to be the perfect place for it. Brooke and I went to Hobby Lobby after school yesterday and got some serious good deals!
Tonight after dinner and baths we put up the tree (well most of it, I forgot to buy ornament hangers - oops!) We watched Charlie Brown's Christmas had a great time. Miss Kate mostly wanted to talk on the phone but she made a perfect angel on top of the tree.
Each girl picked out one special ornament - for Kate it was easy - she is obsessed with duckies! Miss Brooke picked out this unusual purple feathered bird she insisted go on top. Cute, huh?
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

I love the tree, but so sad I missed charlie brown christmas. You better call me next time there isa classic christmas movie on.
