things are crazy but they are. I don't think i have ever been this busy. I don't miss a lot about the eagle but i do miss the routine of it and the flexibility and vacation time and the sad fact that a lot of my stuff was on "auto pilot." This new job has me running! For instance, last Thursday I was in Tulsa then back to OKC Friday and then Wichita Friday night. Our house finally closed - woohoo! So we hadto finally move. We went friday night but ran out of boxes. Went to pick up the Uhaul - closest available was in Hutch - about an hour from where we live. By the time we got back, the electric company had decided to shut off our power a day early or the new owner didn't start his - not sure. Anyway, we had already given up the keys and without power - we couldn't get in through the garage. We waited another hour for a friend to show up with a key. Good thing he hadn't returned it from our vacation 2 years ago!! So we packed packed packed. Loaded up, drove back to OKC and the storage place is closed. So we are unloading at 8am tomorrow morning. Ya'll come by now - ya hear! Afer we unload, jay is taking the girls, i am driving seperately and we are going to Tulsa - I have a booth to set up at a trade show. It was either that or leave about 4am Monday morning. So we are making a mini-vacation out of it and taking the girls to the oklahoma aquarium. I am staying Sunday and Monday night and dricing back Tuesday evening. Jay and the girls are coming back Monday morning. Still with me???? Wednesday might as well be a free day = i just have to work. In Okc. Thursday still in OKC but Brooke has a counseling session at 5:30 and gymnastics at 7pm - on oppoosite side of town plus my BIG boss is taking my whole company bowling on the opposite opposite side of town from 6pm-8pm. Not sure how that will work. Friday morning I am driving to Wichita - I have a 12:30 appt. After that, I am driving back to OKC, meeting Jay, dropping off girls and Jay and I are going to attend our first Red River Rivalry. Would have been a lot more exciting if what happened to day didn't happen (don't want to talk about). Good thing is Texas lost today too. To KSU i think. Crazy day. ANway, jay and I are going to OU-Texas. WOOHOO!!!!! SO Friday night we are driving to Dallas, going to the game on Saturday and then Driving back to OKC Saturday night or Sunday. SO yeah, things are crazy.
I promised fair pics - please forgive my tardiness. Not a lot of narration to go with them. Kate loved the animals. My "angelic" father-in-law bought a pimp hat only to have himself propositioned later that day by a big biker dude. OK, he just wanted to buy the hat, nothing else. My FIL might be angelic but my mother-in-law is a saint! My poor friend/food reviewer/ex-co-worker had to endure some serious nasty fare at the Kansas State Fair but I invite you to the OK State Fair for some real treats! Yes, that sign does say Deep Fried Bacon Cheddar Mashed Potatoes. We couldn't resist the quite possibly literal morbid curiousity of the thing and tried them. O-M-G YUM! Yum! Serious. Yum!
Hopefully, next week I will have some pics from my Tulsa trip. Maybe it won't take a week to post!

Oh my gosh girl, your life is a whirlwind right now! I don't know how you're keeping up...I thought my life was busy, but it pales in comparison to what you've been through the last few weeks. Hang in there!
So, are you free this week?
Ok, maybe I will catch next week for some baby shopping or something.
free wed. smarty pants.
