Today is Brooke's last day here without her little sister to bug her so she decided to have a friend over. Quinn came over about 7:30 this morning and they have been playing and playing ever since. I got to admit, it is a nice break for me. I feel like i don't have to be Brooke's only source of entertainment.
Right now, the girls are outside hunting bugs with Brooke's bug hunting equipment. They have a magnfying glass, tweezers a net and a fancy bug jar. I don't think I ever hunted for bugs when i was little - i always was the girlie girl BUT if i did i am pretty sure my mom would have handed me a mason jar and sent me on my way!
Oh and the girls set a "trap" for ants. You know how sneaky and fast ants can be! They put a big fake bug (pictured here) so the ants would think it was their queen. According to Brooke and Quinn, it is working. Quinn told me she knows it work because she saw one ant go up and bow to it a couple of times! heheheheh
This afternoon we are headed out for some water fun. Fun for the girls, relaxing for me. I have had a really bad week or more of pain - i know it is because i am doing too much. It is just sooo hard not to.
