Well I am out of the hospital. I spent 3 long days there in the worst pain of my life! I was totally unprepard for this. Don't know what i thought, but it was NOT good. My sister was so good to come up and stay with Kate while Jay stayed in the hospital with me. Court-ordered or not, Aunt Bootsy scored some big time point with BK! Plus, she bought her the coolest singing unicorn. Yep, a singing unicorn! My dad came up and stayed a couple of days too but now it is just me and Jay. Practically just Jay. He is having to do everything and he is doing GREAT! I can't lift anything over 10lbs so of course that includes Kate. I have found if he puts her in her high chair I can feed her and there has been a couple of times when she is sreaming, i have picked her up, but I am trying to be smart about it. She is becoming a total daddy's girl. At first, i was upse but now am coming to terms. It is really very, very sweet. She has also decided that since Mommy can't get up and move so fast that she will. She can crawl anywhere now and does. She chases the cat, the dog and her own shadow, i think. She can pull up on everything and has even tried opening cabinets. We are baby-proofing as we go! She is also getting a little stubborn and will scream if you take something away from her. If you tell her no or uh-uh, she covers her ears. I think she is going to be a little firecracker but that's ok. The world needs a few more STRONG women!
