Can you believe it has been 7 mnths since Kate was born? well, I can not! She is going to be a year old before I know it. Makes me want to just grab her and never let her go. At the same time, I love each day that she learns something new - it is so cool exploring things with her for the first time through her eyes. Like being outside. She absolutely loves it - whether we are sitting on a blanket in the back yard or swinging at the park. She squeals in delight at the sight of all these unfamiliar things. She laughs every time the wind blows in her face and will talk to any baby or child who will listen. She seems to get concerned when other babies cry. She will start to coo at them as if to say, "it's ok baby, don't cry."
I took her to daycare today so Jay could have a little extra time this morning - he is still going out of his way every morning to drop her off so I don't have to! 7 months and I still get upset when I drop her off. She was so happy to be there - she loves Miss Kelly and Mrs. Doubtfire. She was giggling up a storm. Now I ask you, was it to much to expect a little pouty lip or atleast a tiny outstretched hand when mommy left? Guess so.
