Worst mom ever....

So Kate and I neither one have been feeling very well this week. She has had a weepy eye and some sneezes and I have been achey and feverish. This is a BIG weekend for us - Kate is being baptized and we have lots of friends and family coming over to celebrate - we can't be sick! So I kept wiping Kate's eye and I took lots of vitamins and we were fine. Tuesday night, Kate's eye got really bad. I decided it would be ok to take her to daycare on Wednesday - I would just call the doctor to see what I should do. Well, Jay called the doctor and Nancy the Nurse (that is really her name BTW) said, pick her up - she has pink eye - definitely. UhOh. Jay called me and so I had to go tell my boss that I was leaving after putting a hard 2 minutes in at work. Ugghhh I felt like the worst mom - I kept thinking all night - she will be ok, I will just take her to daycare and then I can take care of her tonight. I was so worried about not missing work and all the things that I needed to get done, that I didn't put her first. Talk about feeling bad. Bad. bad. bad. I left crying and went straight to her daycare. We snuggled, cuddled and washed my hands all day long. Today, Jay stayed home with her today, he is such a good daddy.
