Kate's Baptism

OK, sorry about being gone again - it's been kind of a rough week. We had to make an emergency run to OKC but everything is better now. I did want to share some pics about Kate's Baptism. She really did well. My mom had her in church and was feeding her which made me nervous because she still spits up a lot and I really didn't want it all over the pastor. I finally took her and just gave her a binkie for a while which was enough to soothe her and actually put her to sleep. We went to the altar and she just slept so peacefully until the pastor took her. She woke right up and, I am not kidding, just stared up at him like she was listening so intently on every word he was saying. She did not make a peep just all smiles and big blue eyes - so very very sweet.
The same day was the children's pagent - baby Jesus was not very happy appartently and was pretty much fussy through the whole thing until Mother Mary gave him his binkie - I am telling you, it was straight out of the Old Testament. hehehe It was really funny because all of our old "blue hairs" came up to me after church and said that Kate would have been a much better Baby Jesus. I totally agree.

We had a lunch at our favorite little Mexican restaurant and then back to our house for cake and champagne. Everyone got a little party gift. Here is what you might have missed:
Sarah, Chris and Draven came down the night before - we took them to Brooke's Chinese place. She just loves it - all kids do because they get to sit at the bar, order their own food and drinks and watch movies with Jesslee. Here is picture of the happy crew:
Here are some random pics for your enjoyment:
Kate and Uncle Mouse
And here is Kate with her proud daddy:
We really didn't have any great pics, unfortunately. I had my hair done a couple days before and it looked so bad. Never get peek-a-boo hi-lites. You can't see them, it just looks like i have really dark blah hair. UGH!!!
I did manage to take Sarah's engagement picture while I was there. Her fiance was busy so I had to use a stand-in but i think it turned out really, really well. I wish them the best!

Wah... I want one of your party gifts!

Glad the baptism went well! Zoe was good like that for hers, but Audrey screamed bloody murder... I think it just proves that she's the DEVIL! ha ha
