I just wanted to say thanks for checking in on me and reading my mom's blog. Sometimes we get sad because you guys aren't around to see me grow and I am REALLY growing. Atleast my mom must think I am growing, I don't know why but she takes pictures of me everyday. Mostly in the morning before I go to school and she goes to work. My big sister says she gets up really early every morning to make the newspaper and then she rides her bike all around town and throws them on peoples porches but I have never seen her do that. Sometimes, I think my big sis is a little weird.
See....
Here are some pics of me my mom took last week:
I think this one is of me Monday on my way to school:
Then this one is of me Tuesday night. I really like my swing - it plays cool music but the bird sounds and nature noises kinda freak me out. I mean, really, who are they trying to fool - I may be young but I wasn't born yesterday.
Here is another one from last week. I think maybe Wednesday. It was a day that was supposed to be really, really cold so my mom got carried away and really bundled me up! I mean come on, I understand wanting me to be warm but all these clothes make me look pudgy and I am NOT pudgy. As if that weren't bad enough, she decided to put an Amish hat on me, I think it is called a bonnet! Come on - a bonnet?? This is still 2006 right?? You know my mom, according to my big sis, was born in the olden days way back in the 70's before they had cars. I guess everyone had to wear bonnets back then.
Here is another picture of my mom and her crazy bundling - notice the 2 hats. A stocking cap and then a hooded jacket. I think she thinks we live in Siberia.
This morning my mommy dressed me in a new outfit that kinda upset my dad.
Daddy was worried because the outfit has a little orange on it and I am not sure why but, we aren't supposed to like the color orange...something about football and OSU and Texas. I guess my whole family is a little strange.
Thanks again for reading and don't worry about me. I am going to be just fine! You know how some people have guardian angels, well I have a guardian cat.
See:
Now don't get me wrong, I love my guardian cat but does it have to be a GIANT guardian cat. What is up with that?? Do you think I will ever be bigger than him?
I guess I can't complain too much - my family may have their idiosyncrasies (told you I was advanced) like hating the color orange, the non-stop picture taking and of course the GIANT cat but they are my family and I love them this much:
I love and miss you all!!
XOXOXOX,
Baby Kate
