Me over the top?? NEVER!!

Well it is the night before the BIG homestudy. I wish I could say everything is moving along swimmingly - well I guess it is, but I am freaking out anyway! Partly because since I have been home there have been roofers on top of our house. It is very, very loud and there is trash everywhere! Every time I look out the window I see something else fall off the roof! I guess I should count my blessings that all of this didn't happen tomorrow night - it wouldn't look too good for the woman inspecting our home to make sure all is safe for a baby to get hit in the head by some flying shingles!
I came home today and cleaned straight through lunch - it doesn't seem like I made any progress at all. I did fix some quick asthetics such as changing some of the sex books for adoption books and some of the drinking books for The Bible and Home Remedies for Children which I just happen to buy the other day for $1.00 at a garage sale.

I even cracked myself up - I cleaned up Brookes room and on her little table I opened up her scrapbook to the "I Love My Mom" page. Even I thought that was a little over the top! That being said, I did go by Dillons on the way home and picked up some cheese and crackers and some grapes to make a nice tray and some cookie dough so the house will smell like freshly baked cookies when she gets here. It has been my experience that hungry people can get a little grumpy. Why take chances?? Plus, come on - fresh baked cookies - how June Cleaver is that?? I would be suprised if she didn't hand us over a baby right then and there! See....I crack myself up again - I think the cleaning solutions are going to my head!
So that being said, I am tired and hungry and cranky, my house is still not clean and the pounding on the roof continues!! Maybe I should stop blogging and get back to work!
