Well, here we are Wednesday, May 31st. J& I are leaving this afternoon for OKC. Tomorrow and Friday is our BIG adoption class/seminar. We are more than a little excited. I really feel like this is a big step towards getting everything going. Once this is complete, we hope to start our homestudy right away. Actually part of it starts Friday at the class. They will interview J & I seperately. Scary but exciting. I have everything all packed (probably more than I need) and am almost ready to go. I have, of course, things I have to finish at work but looks like all of that is going to go pretty smoothly. Hope I am not jinxing myself!

I thought I would share with you an idea that J & I have. We are going to start a video tape of our adoption journey. I always thought that once we got pg we would do something similar. I guess a lot of people do. But since I am not pg and I don't have a blossoming baby bump to photograph, I thought we would create this tape to share our journey to parenthood with our little one someday. This class seems as good of place - kind of a jumping off point. I plan to tape J packing and maybe film a little of us on the trip too. Hopefully, I can get J to say some words at the beginning of the tape and of course I will too. I plan on explaining what we are doing and why and just how excited we are! Hopefully, someday we will get to share it with our son or daughter so they will know, beyond any doubt, just how much they are wanted and how much they are loved!

Well, I had better finish packing. I will check back in on Saturday. Hopefully, I will have some great things to say about the last couple of days. Wish us luck!!
