Over the river and thru the woods...

We finally made it to my grandparents for Christmas! With another winter storm heading our way we figured it was now or wait till summer!! I love LOVE the fact that my children have a relationship with their great grandparents! I knew mine and always knew I was lucky! In this crazy busy world we live in, it is so hard to make visiting them a priority. I should have added that to my 40 goals by 40 years blog.
Sunday after church we finally went to visit. We took them pizza - a favorite of my grandparents - for lunch and had a great visit! After lunch we finally got to exchange Christmas presents. I made my grandparents a photo album of Lacy Family pictures over the last year - kind of my blog in a photo album. I hope they liked it, it was a lot of fun to put together! The girls loved their presents!


Princess bath stuff for Kate was perfect - she thinks it is VERY grown up! And while according to Brooke HSM is sooo last year, HSM3 is not so she loved hers too!

Kate enjoyed playing with cousin Aiden's toys and entertained us all as she tried to figure out if she was big enough to drive his toy truck!

She tried sitting on it and in it and finally stuck her knee in the back and scooted it around - too too funny!

Brooke had toys to play with too! My grandparents electric chair which raises and lowers helping them get up and down!



I really hate that I didn't take any pictures with my grandparents this time. I think we were so busy talking and the kids were running around, i just didn't think about it! The four of us did go and walk around their property, it was a beautiful Sunday, a little on the cool side but not bad for January.




All in all it was a great day - can't wait to visit again, soon!
