The domestication of Jennifer Lacy

These beautiful homemade banana nut muffins are my first act of domestication since......i decided to stay at home with the girls. Yep, in the next month or so i will be officially a full time stay at home mom!!! I can't believe this day has come. Jay and I have fought, cried, prayed about this decision. Jay has always wanted this for me and i have been in constant conflict about it. But each day i see Kate grow and time is slipping away from me. My goal, if i dont bankrupt us, is to stay at home until kate gets into pre-k next year. We are taking it one step at a time, we will re-evaluate the situation at the end of the summer. My hope is that I can find some contract at home work to help supplement my income. Ulitmately, i want to appreciate this gift i have been given and enjoy each day to the fullest - it is a chance in a lifetime and i don't intend on taking it for granted!
