Report Card Time!

Report cards came out yesterday. We were a little nervous because so many new things have been introduced this year and Brooke's progress reports had dropped quite a bit from her previous straight A's! I am happy to report she ended the semester with FOUR A's and TWO B's! WooHoo!!! I am so proud of that girl!
My nephew, Draven also had a HUGE success in the report card department, he attends a very, very challenging academic & arts achool in Oklahoma City, it is not easy but he pulled out all A's and B's too! Way to go Draven!!!!!
To celebrate, my sister called and wanted to surpise the two of them by taking them to Pop's for a drink (soft drinks)!

Of course i said, ok. She picked Brooke up on the way home from school and had her home by 6:00. When Jay and i got home we surprised her with a trip to Shorty Small's for ribs and shrimp - two of her favorites!

Brooke and Kate both had a great time, it wasn't until after she cleaned her plate and her ice cream dessert that she confessed that Aunt Sarah didn't just buy them a drink but dinner as well! I can't believe she ate TWO entire dinners in a span of about 2 hours! Ohhh to have her metabolism! Lucky Little Girl!
