Didn't snow days used to be fun?

The girls were both out of school today not for snow but ice. The roads are awful and it is soooooooo cold. I hated not being at work since I was just out last week with RSV baby but what can you do? For me, submerse myself in guilt and plow forward. I did my best to work from home while keeping the girls occupied. They really did very well and I did get somethings done.
Kate was very sweet today, I actually snapped this picture while she was laying in my arms. My baby is getting so big.


She eventually fell asleep in my bed with Gordie but not before i took this pic!



I managed to keep the girls busy with arts and crafts. Here is a pic of the snowlady Brooke made!



Finally at the end of the day, I let them go outside. Of course, i bundled them in about 5 layers each. This was the first time Kate had been out in snow. She was NOT impressed!



School is out again tomorrow, Jay is staying home with the girls, it is REALLY bad timing for him but it is for me too! I am very lucky to have such a good husband - he is an excellent father to our girls, I am soooo lucky!
