I am not so sick that i didn't want to take the time to share some pics from last night's program. Miss Kate did SO much better than last year. Don't get me wrong, she didn't provide an outstanding performance (i will try and post a video later) but she didn't run off the stage crying either - yay! PLUS, in my humble totally unbiased opinion, she looked gorgeous! NO idea where she got this crazy beautiful hair. If i was the kind of mom that put my babies in pageants, i would totally put her in a pageant and she would totally win! Again, totally unbiased, of course.

Brooke had to get herself ready, she did a great job. Also, a shoe-in for a TWEEN pageant winner! On a funny side note, after kate's play we went to On the Border for some Tortilla Soup (thanks michelle for the power of suggestion), anyway, we walk in and this lady looked us and started laughing and said, "Oh my gosh she is totally your mini-me!) This lady went on and on about how much brooke and i look alike. Pretty funny, huh? Here is a pic of my 2 potential pageant winners

Thanks to everyone who came out in the cold for Kate's play - she loved having her family there to support her and so did I! After the play, the church had hot chocolate, cookies and a sleigh ride driven by a funny little elf. We couldn't resist the opportunity to see the neighborhood lights from a horse drawn sleigh - it was magical. Brooke was fascinated by the horses.

All in all, it was a GREAT family night.

I am going to go back and rest up and try enjoy a little bit of football. Go Sooners!
