Update Finally

Sorry it has been so long since I updated. It has been a crazy week of ups and downs. Mostly, i am just exhausted! I did get to do something pretty cool with my job this week. I have a client who is being featured on a television show on the discovery channel. We spent all day Thursday filming. Brooke was so proud of her momma.......until she found out i wouldn't actually be on camera.

Sarah already posted these pics on her blog but thought I would share them for those who haven't seen them. We took the kids to the park the other day, apparently right before Lillie got sick. They had a great time playing. The olders ones disappeared while the babies got to swing. Brooke did get to ride her bike for the first time. There are many things I regret about moving to OKC but having my sister and her family so close pretty much makes up for it all!

So last night was the big Marriage Saving movie - Fireproof. I thought I would take a pic of what Jay and I look like before our marriage was saved.

Yeah, that is my good friend Robert sticking his tongue out in the background. Nice. I didn't take an after picture, we pretty much looked the same. It was a very good movie with a lot of good points. Definitely made me think. It is based around a book called "the Love Dare." Might be something we have to buy. It talks about fireproofing your marriage (the lead character played by Kirk Cameron and yes, he's still dreamy) is a fire fighter. Basically, fireproofing anything doesn't mean there won't still be a fire, it just means you will survive it. I like that concept a lot.

Today and tomorrow we have soccer. The Stingers are in first place - woohoo! There is only one other unbeaten team and we play them tomorrow. They are the rattlesnakes and they are rough girls. We saw them play in a tournament last weekend and elbows were flying everywhere. Guess I should take a lesson from Coach Stoops - the Sooners are in a very similar situation. Both of us in first place looking down the road at a very big game. For the Sooners it's the Horns for us it is the 'Snakes. But we have to get through the Baylor and the cyclones first. Man, who knew Bob Stoops and I had so much in common?

WHy is my baby's head so big? She looks bigger than your two year old! I will have to teach her the trick her momma uses, always be there person standing in the back. That way your head doesn't look any larger than it already is.

I need to look into buying that book for my parents. It's worth a try right?
