My big girl is NINE today!

I can't believe how fast the time has gone. Looking back on things, when Jay and I were first married we prayed and prayed for a baby. A couple of years later, God answered our prayers when he sent us Brooke. It was definitely unusual circumstances, (since then I have learned to pray more specifically) but from the beginning she was a joy and filled a spot in my heart that was obviously meant just for her. From the beginning Miss Brooke was a princess is every sense of the word. If it was pink had sparkles and/or feathers, she had to have it! I believe she had every Tiara Target ever made! More than a year ago she came to live with us permanently. She has made our family complete. She is honestly the best big sister I have ever known. Her patience with Kate far outlasts mine somedays. She is the daughter I always dreamed of and I love her to the moon and back!

Here are some pics over the last 8 years starting with her 2nd birthday which is not too long after she came into our lives! I am missing some b-day pics because I got off digital for a while and tried one of those Advantix cameras (i thought they were so advanced - HA!) My big girl is turning into a little lady - where does the time go??
