Back 2 School

Well today was Brooke's first day back to school! It went great. She loves her teacher and her new classmates! YAY! She also reunited (please insert Peaches & Herb in your mind here) with her boyfriend Ryan. They share lunch, recess and after care. No scandal on the shirt - woohoo! The only scandalicious moment was when Ryan announced that according to his teacher, his class isn't allowed to have boyfriends and girlfriends. So now they are still boyfriend and girlfriend, it's just a secret.

I thought it would be fun to start with some pics from the first day of school last year. It was also Kate's first day of school last year.






Before I share the ones from today I have to nominate myself for another bad mom award! I took pics of Brooke at home in front of the traditional fireplace and then left for school - things were hectic to say the least! Well, i left the camera in the car and we had to park 2 blocks away so i didn't go back. When I confessed to jay he told me i should pick her up after school and take pics then. Well, we had a mini-crisis at work, i left late and TOTALLY forgot! YIKES! Jay did call, i played it off and picked her right at 6pm.No harm - no foul, right? I did get some good pics tonight! Tomorrow - another outfit!
