I'm baaaaack!

I probably should have mentioned we were leaving for vacation but I didn't. I also should have updated my blog from July 4th but I didn't. So here is a quick run down. I WON the cake contest!! WooHoo!!! My sister was so bitter (probaby still is) but I WON! I WON!!! As a matter of fact, the Lacy's pretty much swept the contests for the day - i think the only thing we didn't win first place in was a closest to the pin contest (thanks a lot Jay!)Brooke won best kid costume. Jay won best adult. Kate won best wagon! Brooke and Sophie (draven's cousin) won the 3-legged race. Kate lined up as if she wanted to race so we quickly found her a partner - she wasn't thrilled with our choice so she ran on her own! Brooke found tons of money in the mulch dig! It was a great great day! After the park and the YUMMY picnic food. We went out to my grandparents and had a great visit! I don't see them enough! After that, we went and met my brother and sister-in-law who are visiting from Florida. We watched the fireworks with them in Edmond at the park it was a great time! So instead of listing and telling you what all the pics are - i figure you can figure it out for yourself! Just to catch you up - we have been away for a week at PK Lake in Texas - not the greatest trip but I will share some hi-lites probably tomorrow. In the meantime - here is the Lacy 4th of July:
