Mother's Day Weekend

What a crazy hectic weekend. I put an end to a busy busy work week only to have Jay throw his back out on Friday night. We were supposed to go to a baseball game witha client of mine but they cancelled last minute. Jay's hurt back combined with the fact that Kate took literally NO nap on Saturday made for a very early Saturday night for the Lacy family. Today has been hectic. I had planned on spending my mother's day lounging on a lily pad while my family fed my Bon Bons. Crazy but it didn't happen! This morning we spend with Jay's mom - this evening with my mom. Somewhere in the middle - my kids found to surprise me with these awesome Mother's Day presents!

oh - i have been meaning to post a pic of Brooke's bug collection - it was a HUGE hit! No word on her final grade yet but everyone loved it! Big thanks to all those who helped - A++'s all around!


A little explanation for all my Kansas readers. When OU and OSU play each year they call the game "bedlam" because it is! We decided to recreat the game with bugs and call it "Buglam."
