Goooooaaaaaallllll!

We reached our goal and had our first soccer practice yesterday. It was crazy windy! The girls couldn't keep the balls on the field. Jay did a good job as head coach but you could see it got a little overwhelming. There was a lot of running, some kicking and plenty of giggles. I think we have got a good group of girls - maybe brooke can atleast make some new friends! Kate had a great time chasing the team and serving as "water girl." I have been designated "snack mom." I think i am also going to start leading the girls in stretches - jay seemed a tad out of his element.
The highlight of the practice (to me atleast) was I taught the girls a cheer that we will start each game with. They LOVED it! Yay Wildcats!

I love the pink soccer ball! How much fun are you all going to have...and the water girl is the sweetest thing ever!

P.S. I check back to see how you feel about being the snack mom after a few games - sounds fun at first! :)

I remember those soccer games. They are quite entertaining. You need to have the other parents pick a day to bring snacks. You should take turns. I'm just Jenny - it sounds like fun at first, but it will get old (plus expensive!)

What cheer did you teach?
