Date Night..

OK - actually it was date hour and a half. After Harrison's b-day party yesterday, wewent to Moore to see Jay's family. We are really trying to get the kids together as much as possible. We met Jay's mom and sister at Kohl's - not my favorite place ususally but we actually found a couple of real deals! Brooke got three new shirts and i got 2 new shirts for work. We got all 5 for just $33.00! One is black and green - just perfect for St. Patrick's Day! After that, we were all ready to eat. Brooke said Jay and I should go on a date and they would stay with Nan and Pop. Brooke is sooooooo smart. So Jay and I left the girls and went to grab a bite to eat. Here is where Jay wanted to go.

HA! We didn't. We actually went here.

The Vista in Norman. It is one of my favorites - haven't been there is forever! We had a quick dinner and then went to get the girls. We ended up playing our new favorite game - Cranium Pop 5! This game is seriously fun! Sometimes we call it the
"milk a cow game" because one time Matthew (or was it Pop) had to try and sculpt "Don't have a cow man" out of clay - and he was trying to "milk" the clay. We end up laughing. This time we added a couple of Mojitos to the mix.

I am pretty sure Megan and I are comletely unbeatable at this game. Maybe it is because we have kids about the same age so our references are all the same but we are unstoppable! Here is Jay trying to mold something - ironically, i think it was another cow!

I know my life seems pretty glamorous. I thought I would give you a behind-the scenes glance at our reality. Thanks Jay for snagging this shot! Normally, Kate is sitting on mylap while i do Brooke's hair so this was actually much beter.

Next week is Spring Break. Brooke is doing a Spring Break Camp of sorts at Kate's school. There are fun activities planned each day. She has decided to take over my blog for the week posting updates on what she has done and really anything she wants to say! Hoep you will keep reading and be sure and post some comments for her! Before I turn it over, I have to share one more sweet sweet pic. I took this just yesterday morning - it is so going framed in my bathroom!
