Kate is sick again. Her fever went from 99.5 to 103 in a flash. Jay picked her up at school and last night we took her to her peds late night clinic. She has now ear infections - the worst he has seen. They also put in a catheter to see if she is also struggling with a UTI. We will know mor Saturday morning. Apparently, most kids don't run that high of a fever with an ear infection. Since this is the 3rd ear infection in a row - or really the same one that they keep supressing with antibiotics, it is time to go to an ENT. We are already talking tubes in her ear. My poor poor baby. I stayed home with her today (it was my turn again), she is so snuggly, a little fussy but still cute. You can see it in her eyes how bad she feels. For some reason she wanted to wear this hat this morning. Who was i to argue?

I had to put tubes in Jaycee's ears in October of last year. I was so scared and didn't want to do it. I swear, I'm so glad that I did because it has been a miracle! She never gets ear infections anymore. She averaged about 2 a month all year long last year. She hasn't had one since. I'm very grateful for tubes!
Poor baby...we were so lucky with our kids. NO ear infections. You do what you have to do to make that baby feel better!
i think she looks cute in that hat, cute... but pathetic. poor sweet baby.
