Do you ever have those nights...

when you feel like Supermom?? Tonight was one for me! I picked up both of the girls on time even though i had to drive so far! Got home, got every one in warm comfy clothes since it is spitting snow after being 75 yesterday! I fed Kate chicken, rice and veggies, read her 4 books (ok it was the same book 4 times - what can I say, she loves Noah's Ark!) Then rocked her all relaxed without a bottle and put her to bed around 7:15 - right on time! We are working on our second week with NO bottle! THEN - Brooke and I cooked dinner - homemade burritos. Normally, I have a problem letting Brooke help too much but tonight, I was oh so patient! The burritos turned out great. While the burritos were in the oven, I put a roast on for tomorrow's dinner and peeled the veggies so they can be added in the morning. I also prepared Jay's lunch for tomorrow so he doesn't go without (part of the new bunny plan.) After dinner, Brooke and I finished her pre-test/homework which consisted of LOTS more patience - she is having trouble wih reading comprehension. After that homework, we watched a quick cooking show on tv and then returned for homework. This time, it was homework fo her therapist. She had to write a paragraph about a time she was really relaxed and happy. Guess what she wrote about? Me and her and our whole evening together, cooking, talking and watching tv! I am one lucky mama - super or not!

You are a super mom, Jenn! Usually when I have one night like that then the next night is worthless - good luck to two in a row.
